Amigo! Pro is an unusual PIM which combines freeform information with structured information. Each item of information is a note. At its simplest, a note contains a title and information; however, your notes can be structured too, and you decide on the structure, which is based on a template/style. Many different templates are included with Amigo! Pro, but you can easily create your own. The program's best feature is tight browser integration: the Amigo Link feature makes it easy to capture information directly from your browser. Other features include an Explorer-like interface, a shortcut bar similar to Microsoft Outlook, full text search through multiple files, a phone dialler, integrated backup, reminders, file download management for files you download from the Internet, drag and drop, exchanging Amigo! files and notes with other users via e-mail, and automatic clipboard capture.
